The Reviews of Guangdong Asia International Hotel
DanielDP:
The rooms are a bit dated, but the location is very good, not too far from the airport, not too far from the Fair complex. Prices go up tremendously if you happen to stay there during the Fair..
Breakfast is just ok, but the view from the rotating top is spectacular. The Japanese restaurant is not too good, the Chinese restaurant is ok. Service is hit-or-miss as it always happen in China.

I stayed in this hotel and found it to be first class. The rooms are very spacious and clean with tea/coffee making facilities provided. The staff were very friendly even though a number of them did not speak English - so sometimes I needed to go to the front desk where most of them did speak English. The food, at breakfast and in the evening, was of excellent quality. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have seen. I found the drinks in the hotel to be a little on the pricey side - especially for China. The location of the hotel is very good and there are plenty of cabs available outside and their rates are quite cheap by western standards. Overall a quality place to stay and I would stay there again.

I stayed at the Asia International Hotel and found the rooms a little tired. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, but the hotel itself was very uninspiring.

Staying in one of the Business Elite rooms. The rooms are large and the Hotel itself is about 20 years old. I'm paying around 900Y a night which is not too bad but they could charge alot more if they did a renovation. The carpets here are white and get dirty very easily, I can confirm other reports of poor carpets so its not the hotel for you if your travelling with toddlers. The staff are excellent and most at the front desk speak English.

I will reserve this hotel when I come to canton fair every time. The room is new and big. The servers have good manner towards customers, and the food in restaurant is very delicious. So of course the price is very high. It’s very suitable for business but for private travel, I will not choose it.
By the way, i am very satisfied with WITHYOUTRIP. They always give me the promptest reply. For several times, I inquired at the daytime but it was the midnight in China, they also replied to me immediately.

Advantage: the hotel has superb location, stands at Huanshi east road which is the most flourishing place of Guangzhou. The service is good, and room is comfortable. Disadvantage: Business B room is ordinary. Consumption in hotel is very expensive.
